Environmental site analysis: Jason chambers 2003 Ecological Sustainable Development (ESD)

Ecological Sustainable Development (ESD) is a major focus of teaching, research and consultancy in the Architecture Program. ESD is highly integrated into the teaching curriculum where the Environmental Studies Stream extends through all levels of the program, commencing with foundational courses in passive and active environmental systems, architectural technology, and ecology. This knowledge is further explored and applied in Architectural Design Studio 7 (Environment), and in the final year studios Architectural Design Studios 9 and 10. The Program and School is committed to collaborative consultancies in cutting edge ESD projects such as the ESD Demonstration Building for the Mawson Lakes IEOG, all underpinned by an active academic research portfolio.
