For those of you who are wanting a hands-on experience, emerging lighting designer Stuart Williams will lead a Masterclass where participants will be able to create their own luminaire. Experiment with material and form and have the creative satisfaction of producing an object in this full-day Masterclass.

(note: Stuart Williams Masterclass will begin with a briefing on the evening of Thursday 20 November, followed by a full day of hands-on making on Friday 21 November)

Stuart Williams | Furniture Designer, Lighting Designer | Passion

 Stuart Williams and artworkStuart Williams studied at UTAS majoring in furniture design. His public furniture commissions include State Library of Tasmania, Baker D. Chirico Bakery, St Kilda and Henry Jones Art Hotel. In 2004 he moved to Perth where he continued to make and design furniture with a focus on lighting. In 2006 he exhibited his lighting design work at the prestigious Milan furniture fair and held his first solo exhibition following in 2007 in Perth WA.
