Resources for prospective students
The Bachelor of Architecture, and the Bachelors of Interior
Architecture and Industrial Design are five year and four year full-time
programs respectively. Each program is organised into three Levels:
Introductory, Foundation and Professional.
The first level (first year) introduces students to basic skills and
concepts in design theory, creativity, environmental awareness,
communications and technology. The second level (second and third years)
develops competence in core course streams and broadens awareness
through electives. The third level (fourth year or fourth and fifth
years) expands the intellectual and professional areas of the program
and provides scope for specialisation through advanced electives.
Students must generally complete all the requirements of one level
before moving to the next.
