Orientation program for students in the School of Architecture and Design

Welcome to the Louis Laybourne Smith School of Architecture and Design and congratulations on receiving and accepting an offer to the University!

Orientation activities introduce you to campus life, to people, to new ways of teaching and learning and to the multitude of resources and support available at the University of South Australia. It is highly recommended that you attend the orientation activities for your program.  Your Orientation activities are outlined below.

Enrolment buddies will be available to assist students who require help with enrolling.
(Students are encourage to enrol themselves online).
 

Students can receive information about applying for credit for prior learning and any other program advice.

Essential information regarding, Studio courses, Academic Integrity and assignment submission and return.

Introduction to Computing at UniSA

Topics covered will include General University computing facilities,
email  and accessing web sites, wireless networking and laptops,
school specific facilities, data storage and management, UniSA net and AssignIT.

Introduction to Study at UniSA

University study requires that you develop sophisticated research, thinking and writing skills.
In this session, learning Connection and Library staff show you what you can do NOW to be prepared and the ways in which these units will work with you to develop the necessary skills

Early Preparation Workshops:

Early Preparation Workshops are available for commencing students who are mature age, studying externally, have been studying at TAFE or have a disability. The workshops are offered in mid February. Check the New Students website for more details and to register.
