| AnTEP commenced with its first intake of ten students
at Ernabella in 1984. AnTEP is now in its third decade of operation and
by the end of 2006 had a total of 75 graduates from Stage 1 of the course, 35
graduates from Stage 2 and 20 graduates from the final Stage
3 of the course. Most graduates are now teaching independently in
their own community schools.

AnTEP
has always recognised the importance of close collaboration with local
decision making bodies and with education service providers.
These include the Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Education Committee (PYEC),
Department of Education and Children's Services (DECS)
and Anangu Educaton Services (AES). |
