ABOUT THE ART MUSEUM

The University of South Australia Art Museum is located with Adelaide's other premier cultural institutions on North Terrace, at the University's City West Campus.

The Art Museum conducts a lively program of up to eight exhibitions annually, with an emphasis on contemporary art, craft, architecture and design.

The Art Museum's aspiration is to enrich the University's educational contribution to its student and academic communities, and to strengthen the University's community role in fostering the arts.

During the Christmas/New Year period when the gallery is closed, a series of changing exhibitions are presented in the Art Museum's large North Terrace window space.

The Art Museum is part of the University's Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences (DEASS).
