Supply Chain Management for Collaborative Manufacturing

  1. Supervisors: Dr Sev Nagalingam
  2. Area: Sustainable Manufacturing , Manufacturing Engineering
  3. Abstract: The role of manufacturing operations is migrating to a task of final assembly, with increased reliance on a significant number of supply chain participants who have differing objectives, perspectives and processes. Effective supply chain collaboration requires the ability to establish functioning alliances which can be formed and dissolved quickly in order to tackle rapid changes in demands and emerge new opportunities.
