AME Advanced Skill Development Program
The School of Advanced Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering (AME) at the University of South Australia has developed a program with a focus on supporting undergraduate students who excel academically. Students with high Grade Point Averages (GPAs) are invited to participate in a nurturing process which commences at the beginning of the students third year until the completion of their degree.
The AME Advanced Skill Development Program includes the provision of work experience, additional academic activities and training, and supervision of a final year project deeply embedded within a research setting. This program aims to challenge both staff and students and will expose participating students to the culture and opportunities within research.
