What is Network Now?
Network Now is a UniSA networking dinner that provides the opportunity for UniSA students and graduates to meet and network with hosts who are UniSA Alumni High Achievers who are successful in their chosen professions or careers and Industry Leaders from companies who employ UniSA graduates.
When and where was Network Now held?
Sorry Network Now is not being offered during 2011. Visit the Alumni homepage for new events.
What happens at Network Now?
There was some exciting changes that took place to Network Now in 2009 and we will be looking to build on these in 2011. Attendees had the opportunity to informally network during entree and dessert and were seated at a table for main course with three UniSA Alumni High Achievers and Industry Leaders and five other attendees.
In 2009 Professor Barbara Pocock, Director of the Centre for Work + Life at UniSA and Dr James Cowley, Strategist, Innovator and Trends analyst spoke on the topic of Work/Life Balance during main course.
Throughout the night activities were conducted that focused on encouraging networking amongst attendees.
How much does it cost to attend Network Now?
Due to the generosity of our table host sponsors we were able to keep costs down in 2009 but these costs may be subject to change in 2011.
Early Bird
- UniSA students $55
- Graduates $80
- Other Attendees $90
- UniSA student $80
- Graduates $100
- Other Attendees $110
What do I get for my registration fee?
Your registration fee includes a three course meal, drinks, and the opportunity to meet important UniSA Alumni and friends.
Can I bring friends?
Everybody is welcome to attend Network Now and the 2009 fee structure is listed above as a guide. You need to remember that you and your friends most likely want and need to meet different people throughout the night so it would not be advisable to only stay with each other. The seats during main course will be randomly allocated encouraging networking amongst people from different industries and backgrounds.
How will I know that I have registered successfully?
People who register successfully will receive an email within 2 weeks of paying the registration fee, confirming their place at Network Now.
When will I receive my Network Now pack?
Network Now packs will be sent to each attendee one month prior to the dinner.
What happens if my registration is unsuccessful?
Tickets will be sold on a first come basis so it is advisable to buy your ticket early. If the event is sold out your payment will not be processed and you will be notified via email or post. There will be a waiting list and you will be placed on this list if you indicate YES on the registration form.
What happens if I register and then can't attend Network Now?
UniSA will refund 85% of your registration fee if you advise us 3 weeks prior to the event. No refund will be provided for cancellations thereafter. Tickets are transferable however networking area of interest (as indicated on the registration form) cannot be changed and the Event Coordinators (see below for contact details) must be notified of the change of attendee.
