Alumni networks
UniSA Alumni has
four formal international alumni chapters (in Hong Kong, Singapore,
Malaysia and Taiwan) and a combined chapter (with Adelaide University
and Flinders University) in the UK.
We also have two MBA alumni clubs. These include the MBA Alumni Club - South Australia and the MBA Alumni Club - Hong Kong.
These networks offer members a variety of professional and social functions and the opportunity to meet other UniSA graduates.

Alumni Chapter
Chapter requirements:
A formal, organized association of alumni wishing to network with other UniSA alumni for professional, industry, discipline, school, geographic or special interest purposes and must operate according to a set of by-laws.
- 100-200 graduates based on profession, industry, discipline, special interest group, or within 100km of a geographic region.
- 20 graduates to be identified who will participate in activities on a regular basis.
- UniSA staff representative from sponsoring area.
- Chapter constitution
- Committee appointed
- Plan for first year’s activities with a minimum of two events per year.
- Maintain viable membership base.
Establishment fees:
- UniSA will assist with the initial mailout and email distribution regarding the formation or inaugural function of the Chapter.
- UniSA will meet annual in country fixed statutory costs of chapter registration for international Chapters.
- UniSA will fund one major event each year in association with the presence of the Chancellor and/or Vice Chancellor. For Chapters in based in countries where UniSA Presentation of Award Ceremonies are held, it is expected that the event be held in conjunction with this ceremony.
Administrative support:
UniSA will provide access to the standard alumni communication channels – and The Graduate newspaper.
The Alumni and Development office will maintain alumni data through its database, share records with the chapter on graduates as appropriate and facilitate membership information collection.
The Senior Development Officer (Alumni Services) will work closely with the international chapter committees to assist in achieving objectives.
Alumni Club
Club requirements:
A less formal association of alumni wishing to network with other UniSA Alumni. Does not initially operate within a formal structure, but with increased participation over time can lead to registration as a chapter. Its less formal association will normally comprise a core of alumni who organize networking and other events, liaise with UniSA alumni office.
- Minimum 50-100 graduates
- Core group who will form a committee and organize events
- No constitution
- Maintain a viable membership base
- Minimum of one or two events per year.
Establishment fees:
- UniSA will assist with the initial mailout and email distribution regarding the formation or inaugural function of the Club.
- UniSA will fund one inaugural event to a maximum of $2,000
Administrative support:
UniSA will provide access to the standard alumni communication channels – and The Graduate newspaper.
The Alumni and Development office will maintain alumni data through its database, share records with the club on graduates as appropriate and facilitate membership information collection.
Division based Marketing and Alumni Coordinators will work closely with the club committees to assist in achieving objectives.
Alumni Group
These are smaller, informal networks with no formal structure, but require infrequent event-based activity or where professional demands require the flexible delivery of alumni network activity.
