UniSA Volunteer Mentor
Would you like to be a
UniSA volunteer mentor for International Students?
Would you like to help international students understand Australian language and culture?
We are looking for volunteers to mentor students enrolled in the International Master of Teaching program. Opportunities for these students to experience every-day conversational English, cultural media and pastimes will help their understanding of local language and customs, making them better equipped for the practical component of their coursework. By volunteering one hour a week (or fortnight) you can contribute to the success of one of UniSA's international students.

Are you interested in being a mentor to a young person studying at tertiary level?
It is expected that students will catch up with their mentor at least four times a year (but typically it is every one to two months) for around one hour, and maintain contact via email or phone every four to six weeks. Training is provided and screening of mentors is undertaken (including a police check) prior to meeting a student. Learn more..
