Non-profit housing

These accommodation options are generally unfurnished.  As they operate on a not-for-profit or subsidised basis, availability is limited, eligibility criteria and waiting lists may apply.

Common Ground

Located in Franklin Street, City, rental for these furnished units is subsidised. Eligibility criteria apply, eg. low income. Not available to international students.

Lutheran Community Housing Support Unit

A housing association with options in the southern suburbs. Rural students are encouraged to apply.
Affordable apartments and units are also available in City locations.

Portway Housing

Portway aims to assist low income families, young people under 25 years of age, people who are living with a mental health related disability and refugees. Housing mainly in northern and western suburbs. Eligibility criteria apply.

Student Housing Program

This program has been tailored to meet the varied housing needs of students by providing suitable, single and share housing close to public transport, shops and other community services.

UniLodge East End - NRAS

Affordable student apartments in the City. Eligibility criteria apply.

Unity Housing - NRAS

Affordable housing in various City locations and in the inner western suburbs. Eligibility criteria apply.

Westside Housing

Westside caters for people on a low-income. Housing mainly in northern and western suburbs. Eligibility criteria apply.
