- Fully furnished single rooms, normally with shared bathroom, kitchen, laundry and recreational areas. Some hostels also have double or triple share rooms
- Electricity, gas and water consumption are normally included in the rent. Internet access may be available
- Some student hostels offer special rates for short term stays, subject to availability.
