Temporary accommodation and on arrival reception
On arrival reception
The On Arrival Reception service for commencing international students at UniSA ensures that students receive a warm welcome to Adelaide and to UniSA. For details of the On-Arrival Reception service and instructions on how to book the service, please visit the On-Arrival Reception website or email the On-Arrival Services Officer if you have any queries.
Temporary accommodation
We are able to book short term backpacker-style dormitory accommodation on your behalf when you first arrive in Adelaide. However, you should book hotels, serviced apartments and private rooms in backpacker hostels directly with the providers because in most cases they will require a deposit for bookings.
You will be responsible for the payment of your accommodation. The providers generally will expect you to pay for your 6/7 night stay in temporary accommodation upon arrival, and any refunds are to be negotiated directly with the provider. Availability of accommodation can vary, so you are advised to book early, especially in the months of February and March. Costs may change without notice.
Note: UniSA does not own or operate these accommodation facilities, does not provide any oversight of the property or property manager and does not accept any liability in relation to the property and property manager. For further information on any properties please contact the managers directly.
