Backpacker accommodation
Backpackers or hostels in Adelaide are a cheap accommodation option. Some offer a high standard of accommodation. Backpackers/Hostels usually have share bathrooms and communal cooking and dining area for you to make your own meals. Dormitory accommodation means several people sleep in the same room (males and females normally in separate rooms). Security lockers may be available from reception for your valuables.
UniSA is only able to book dormitory accommodation on your behalf. You will need to book private rooms directly with the provider.
Costs vary depending on the provider, however here is an average cost guide for budgeting purposes:
- Dormitory: from $25/per person per night
- Single: from $40/night
- Double: from $50/night
- Family room: from $70/night
