My vision for Australia is that Australia has the best university system in the world. My vision for the University of South Australia is that the University of South Australia becomes one of the most important contributors to that system.

We need to find new ways of generating, using and storing energy. We can’t do that without research. Research will underpin a new approach to sustainability if we wish to maintain high living standards.
What’s the best thing about a degree from UniSA?

The degree is just the start. It’s really, if you like, a passport to their future and we’ve put one stamp or one visa in that passport for them.
How will UniSA continue to build its international reputation?

UniSA is a great contributor to international high education. We have 10,000 international students, many of them here, many of them overseas, and all these students will be Alumni of UniSA and therefore form linkages with Australia, which are exceedingly important for our relationships in the region.

First of all, there’s no doubt that Australian education is high quality, excellent value for money and we offer education in really very liveable cities and that’s very much the case for Adelaide.
