We work with community groups and organisations by offering short term Community Summer Scholarships to students across rural South Australia. We work with you to develop the parameters of your community development project and recruit students to undertake the project over a four week period.
By hosting students in your health service or community organization you are making a long-term contribution to the sustainability of rural health. With your help we can train more nurses and allied health professionals to provide a high standard of care for regional South Australians.
For further details, please contact University of SA Department of Rural Health: Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Students work on community development projects from inception to completion gaining practical and meaningful work experience, new skills, confidence, professional networks and exposure to real-world scenarios in the workplace.
Their exposure to rural practice helps to increase the potential for nurses and allied health professionals to return to work in rural South Australia.
For further details, please contact University of SA Department of Rural Health: Email email@example.com if you are interested in offering a community development opportunity to students
