Hearing Voices That Are Distressing Workshop

You are invited to attend a University of South Australia Department of Rural Health Simulation Workshop. This 3.5 hour workshop is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the everyday challenges for people who hear voices that are distressing.

In a safe environment participants will use innovative ways of simulating the experience of hearing voices that are distressing while carrying out regular daily tasks. Participants will also gain a better understanding of the challenges that people with psychiatric disability face.

The workshop aims to promote mental health well-being proving an opportunity for participants to understand and relate more effectively with people who experience distressing voices.
