Health care in regional South Australia Public Seminar

Health care in regional South Australia - Have we got it right?

Healthy communities are vital for vibrant and thriving regions.

The University of South Australia Department of Rural Health is currently undertaking one of the largest health surveys ever to be conducted in regional South Australia.

You are invited to come and hear some of the initial findings of the survey. One of these findings is that people living in regional, rural and remote South Australia are experiencing high rates of some health conditions. Unfortunately, they are also experiencing barriers to accessing the health services they need.

The team will also explore ways that health services could be enhanced to better serve our communities. The view is that by working together we can improve the health and wellbeing of regional South Australia.
