General Purpose Building courtyard, Mawson Lakes campus

The General Purpose Building courtyard with its pleasant surroundings is the central area where students meet, eat or study. The courtyard leads off to the Library, lecture rooms and cafeteria. At night, it has been used as an extension to the General Purpose Building foyer where many large seminars and events are held and attended by the general public.

The Solar Car was built by the Solar Car Consortium - University of South Australia, Annesley College, Seaton High School and Fremont-Elizabeth High School - to contest the World Solar Challenge in 1999.
