Academic focus

Degree programs and research activities are available in the areas of business, commerce, management, marketing, information systems, Australian and Indigenous studies, tourism and hospitality, visual arts and design, and architecture.

Facilities

City West campus has some of the most modern facilities available, including wireless computer network access. Classrooms and lecture theatres are all well equipped and services available to students include café/bar, cafeteria and bookshop. The campus even has its own Post Office.

The campus has a permanent public sculpture display and it neighbours the Lion Arts Centre and the Jam Factory craft and design centre. There is also a gallery, theatre, and courtyards that serve as venues for community arts events. Complementing the campus's artistic surroundings are the Kaurna and Dorritt Black buildings, each of which have provided City West with innovative and state-of-the-art facilities for visual art, design and architecture studies. The newest addition, the Hawke Building featuring the Anne & Gordon Samstag Museum of Art and the Kerry Packer Civic Gallery, is UniSA's flagship named in honour of Australia's former Prime Minister, and presents a commanding façade to Adelaide's North Terrace

With its southern boundary on Hindley Street, the campus is in the centre of Adelaide’s major arts precinct. Hindley Street is home to many nightclubs, cafés, restaurants and alternative fashion stores.
