Want to feel empowered to succeed at university? Set yourself up for success by studying UniSA College's Foundation Studies program. Foundation Studies is designed to provide you with a pathway to a university degree and to prepare you for the challenges of tertiary study. The best bits: there are no qualifications required for entry, and it's free.
Who is it for?This one year program is designed for people who are returning to study, who may not have any qualifications or for English as a second language students. You need to be an Australian resident of at least 18 years of age by the 1st of February, and you must not have completed more than a certificate III qualification.What will I study?There are eight strands (or specialisations) of the Foundation Studies program:
Each strand of Foundation Studies includes introductory courses in academic literacy, computing and successful tertiary learning. Students then choose additional courses related to their preferred field of study.
Where does it lead?The Foundation Studies program can lead to entry into a university degree or to the second year of a UniSA College diploma program. A competitive grade point average (GPA) is required.
