A Career in Marketing Presentation

Audience: Year 11 and 12 Business and Enterprise classes

Marketing students at the UniSA Business School are taught by foremost marketing experts from the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science, one of the world’s leading centres for research in marketing. The Institute makes fundamental discoveries about consumer behaviour and advises international companies like Coca-Cola, Mars and Unilever. However very few high school students understand what marketing is and where it can take them. So, how do we teach them?

Our foremost marketing experts from the Institute will come to you, to teach your students what marketing is, why it’s important and what it takes. Students will learn the 4P’s of marketing, and discover some advertising and branding truths!

Economics and Accounting Exam Revision Sessions

Where: City West Campus
Duration: 120 minutes
Audience: Year 12 Economics and/or Accounting students

The Economics and Accounting Exam Revision Session provides Year 12 students with hints, tips and strategies on what they need to know for their SACE Economics and Accounting exams. Students will work through practice questions and receive feedback from our expert teachers who will help them to prepare for a career in Accounting or Economics. Sessions are in held in October prior to SACE exams.

Education in the Law Moot Court

Where: City West campus 
Duration: Up to a full day 
Audience: Year 11 and 12 Legal Studies classes

The Moot Court can be used to run moots – mock trials in which students present a case to the judge and examine witnesses in the witness box. This gives students an opportunity to develop their communication and presentation skills, particularly in preparation for university study and their future careers.

Learn the rule of Law Workshop

Where: City West Campus / Your school
Duration: 30 - 90 minutes
Audience: Year 10, 11 and 12 students

Learning from legal professionals and experts in their field of law, students will listen and interact with academics and their peers to discover the varied career pathways the UniSA law degree can provide. In collaboration with your school, this workshop can be tailored to your curriculum and can incorporate specific legal topics presented to your students by our academics.

UniSA Business School Marketing Competition

Audience: Year 11 and 12 students

Help your students develop their understanding of marketing and the world of advertising. Designed specifically for Year 11 and 12 students, the UniSA Business School Marketing Competition requires students to create a 30 second radio advertisement either individually or in teams. Entries will be judged by experts from our Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science, one of the world’s leading centres in marketing research and prizes will be awarded to the best entries.

The Competition runs across Terms 1 and 2 of the school year.
