“I chose the University of South Australia because it had a very good ranking for research and it looked like a high quality campus with modern facilities.”

During his engineering degree, Apurva participated in a year long internship which saw him take up a placement at UniSA’s Future Industries Institute (FII).

“The internship allowed me to engage with different industries and learn about Australian workplaces. Immediately after graduation I was successful in gaining work at FII.”

“The University’s lecturers and tutors are very supportive. The tutors helped me with referencing and the tutorial rooms are well equipped.”

During her social work degree, Emily has enjoyed the chance to put her skills to practise thanks to modern facilities and practical teaching, including practise interview sessions in the University’s’ social work studios. She has also gained valuable work experience through regular social work placements.

“I had the opportunity to gain real experience by completing 500 placement hours in a school setting.”

“I chose to study at the University of South Australia so I could improve my skills and English at the same time.”

During his time as a Study Abroad student, Marco enjoyed modern facilities and an orientation program which helped him meet friends and explore his new home

“The orientation program showed me everything I needed to know. The campus is great, you can take a break and enjoy the sunshine while drinking coffee with classmates. Adelaide is a great city to explore, I love going to Glenelg beach as it’s easily accessible by public transport.”

During his property degree, Scott enjoyed the chance to access high tech facilities in a modern setting. He also had the opportunity to broaden his experience with an internship in a property firm and by participating in a mentoring program.

“I completed a six months Business Career Mentor Program which allowed me to gain insight to the property field. UniSA offers one of the leading property courses in Australia.”
