What to bring

> Your passport.  If you do not have your passport with you will not be allowed to sit the test
> Water, in a clear plastic bottle only
> Do not bring any stationery. We will provide pencils and erasers 
> Do not bring valuable or precious personal possessions. You will leave your bags, jackets, coats, mobile phones, in a bag room facility where they will be secured. However, the CELUSA IELTS Testing Centre will not take responsibility for lost or stolen personal items

For your information: the Speaking Test is on the same day as the Listening, Reading and Writing

Registration is open from 8.00am to 8.45am

Any candidate arriving after Registraion has closed will not be admitted to the test

 Academic and General Training Modules Time

Writing - two tasks
(150 words and 250 words): 60 minutes total

9.00am to 10.00am
Reading - three sections
(60 minutes total)
10.10am to 11.10am

Listening : 40 minutes

11.20am to 12.10pm
Speaking: 11 - 14 minutes 12.40pm to 5.00pm

Candidates will learn their Speaking Test time after 12pm and should keep the afternoon free (early Speaking Test requests must be made before 9.00am)


You are not permitted to leave during the first or last 10 minutes of any of the test components nor while the Listening Test CD is playing. If you need to leave the test room to go to the bathroom at any other time, raise your hand and ask a staff member.

No extra time is given for bathroom breaks

Medical Transfer/Refund

If you are unable to attend the test due to illness or serious cause, please follow these steps:

1. See a doctor and get a certificate stating you were unfit for normal duties on the given test date

2. Provide the doctor's certificate plus a completed Request for Refund or Test Date Transfer Form no later than five working days after the test to CELUSA IELTS Centre

This can be done 

Transfer: there is no administration fee for medical transfers

Refund: the $82.50 adminsiation fee applies for medical refunds

Car parking and transport

Off street and public car parking is located in close proximity to the CELUSA IELTS Testing Centre. The main Train Station is located on North Terrace and is a short 10-minute walk to the Test Centre.
