So you’re new in town? Celebrate the beginning of your studies with our welcome and orientation events. Meet your lecturers and classmates and get to know your home campus.

Our new student lounge at City West was designed by our students and is a place to come together outside of study. It includes fully equipped kitchen facilities, mobile charging facilities, large screen TVs, table tennis and pool tables as well as a variety of social spaces. unisa.edu.au/studentlounge

Time to shop
Head into the city for some shopping in between classes. Adelaide offers a range of options from big global brands to boutique and local products. Head to the famous Rundle Mall in the city centre or check out what’s on offer at the Adelaide Central Markets.

Your student association coordinates clubs and societies across campuses. No matter what your interest - there’s a club for you and it’s a great way to meet friends and learn new skills.

Explore more on campus
Enjoy our on-campus art galleries and bars with live music, cultural events and BBQs.

Did you know?
There are many different events throughout the year including:

  • Mental Health and Wellbeing Week - When your study life gets busy, we’ll do our best to help you relax. Join us on campus for some play, nourishment and wellbeing inspiration.
  • Community Gardens - Learn about gardening, share your knowledge with others and help ‘green’ your campus in between classes.
  • Multicultural Week - Celebrate all things multicultural on campus with free food stalls, music and dance performances and workshops.

Get social
Enjoy an energetic student experience brought to life by events, entertainment, sports, clubs, volunteering opportunities and more. Come together with your fellow students and experience activities beyond the classroom.
