Entry requirements

You can qualify for a place at UniSA after completion of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or another equivalent qualification. Choose the option that matches your high school qualifications:

SACE or interstate equivalent

To be eligible for selection into a UniSA degree, diploma or associate degree program, high school students are required to have:

  • Qualified for the SACE/interstate equivalent
  • Obtained a competitive Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR)
  • Obtained an achievement score of C- or better for prerequisite subjects as listed in the UniSA program guide or SATAC guide.

Entry with the International Baccalaureate

To be eligible for entry to a degree, diploma or associate degree program, students are required to have:

  • Qualified for their IB diploma
  • Obtained a competitive Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR)
  • Obtained a minimum IB score of 24 points
  • Obtained the required grades for any prerequisite subjects as listed in the UniSA section of the SATAC International Baccalaureate booklet (444kb PDF).
