Further your education with undergraduate study at UniSA and benefit from our special arrangement with the Australian Defence Force. If you have completed a certificate IV, diploma or advanced diploma from the ADF, you will receive credit towards most UniSA undergraduate programs.

Even better, under the UniSA Preferred scheme a relevant ADF diploma or higher will guarantee you a spot in many of our programs so long as you have gained your qualification through an Australian accredited institution.

Special elective for defence personnel

UniSA offers Service Learning in the Australian Defence Force (EDUC 1070) as a Broadening Undergraduate Education (BUGE) elective specifically for active members of the ADF.

The course gives you the chance to explore how your experiences in the ADF can facilitate the development of the graduate qualities UniSA seeks to instil; qualities such as being a lifelong learner, good ethics and social responsibility, and cultivating an international perspective.

This 4.5 unit course has been designed to provide maximum flexibility, with options for online study, negotiable deadlines and the ability to stretch across multiple study periods (up to 12 months). If you are already studying elsewhere, you can enrol as a cross-institutional student and have the course counted towards your award, provided your home institution permits this.
