Vacation scholarships
Vacation scholarships give outstanding undergraduate students the chance to undertake research at The Wark for up to two months (usually between the December to February period). Successful applicants work within one or more of our research sectors. A tax-free stipend of $350 per week is paid fortnightly.
We welcome applications from both UniSA students and students from other institutions who have consistently achieved a high level of academic performance in their degree program. As a minimum requirement, students must have completed the first year of their degree program.
Applicants are encouraged to visit The Wark, to view our facilities, and to meet some of our research staff and postgraduate students. Project outlines are discussed and developed in conjunction with successful applicants prior to commencement.
The closing date for applications (Word doc) is 30 September of each year. We will acknowledge your application by email.
