Research Projects

The Centre for Research in Education has a number of research groups, which bring together academics with compatible interests and expertise to work towards the Centre's broad concerns of social justice, lifespan development and learning, and sustainability.

A wide variety of research projects are undertaken by our research groups who explore what it takes to deliver the highest quality teaching and learning. Our academics investigate how educational institutions function, including how they engage with the wider community, other cultural institutions, public culture and work.

We keep abreast of how developments in communication and technology affect teaching and learning, and ask how education can best respond to a changing world. We are concerned with public policy and innovation in the fields of curriculum and pedagogy studies.
