We welcome and encourage future students at the CWMR. The integration of CWMR’s activities across the School of Natural and Built Environments facilitates a dynamic and integrated education. With over 50 full-time academic staff, 116 PhD students and 13 post-doctoral researchers, the School of Natural and Built Environments contains a vibrant mix of four disciplines:
- Civil Engineering
- Construction and Project Management
- Urban and Regional Planning
- Geospatial and Environmental Management
From this interdisciplinary platform, the School aims to educate outstanding research-embedded practitioners and leaders and address research questions in key application areas using multi-disciplinary teams and strong international networks.
CWMR staff, post-Doctoral and research students make important contributions, not only to research but also to teaching and tutoring across the School. Through these activities, we provide the important scientific evidence that is required to convince communities to change their behaviour and to help both governments and communities move towards more sustainable management of our water resources.
