ACCP leadership team strengthened with new Implementation Support Services Program Lead Rosa Flaherty

The ACCP is delighted to welcome Rosa Flaherty to the team an outstanding candidate to lead the Centre’s growing implementation support services. Rosa has strong clinical and leadership experience across various roles as a senior Manager in Child Protection in NSW Heath, Australia’s largest health system. She has a breadth of experience in developing policy and practice innovations and implementing them in complex practice environments with a range of disciplines and stakeholders. Prior to moving into leadership in NSW Health, Rosa was a psychologist with clinical and management experience in government and non-government organisations. Rosa’s outstanding achievements and implementation of innovative solutions have been recognised through her being awarded the 2016 NSW Health Staff member of the year (out of over 110,000 NSW staff) and she was also a nominee for the 2017 NSW Woman of the Year Premier’s Award.

Rosa’s appointment to the ACCP, further strengthens the Centre’s expertise and position as the premier research Centre focussed on the prevention of child abuse and neglect in the Asia-Pacific region.
