Activity 2: Unpacking the consequences of school drop-outs in Samoa
Objective

The objective of this exercise is to consider the impacts of early school leavers for young people, families, villages and Samoan society as a whole.

Time required: 30 minutes

Task
This activity requires you work in pairs to answer three questions. These are:
  1. What are the consequences for youth of not completing schooling?
  2. How does it affect the families and villages?
  3. What are the impacts for Samoan society and the economy?
