Various staff and students within NBERC and the School of Natural and Built Environments presented various research topics throughout the course of the day.
The School of Natural and Built Environment (NBE) focuses on the unique relationships and synergies between natural and built environments, with a particular interest in teaching and research to support improved environmental and socio-economic sustainability for the future.
The Natural and Built Environments Research Centre (NBERC) which was established in 2016 also sits within the School of NBE. The research centre consists of four major research strands.
- Natural and Built Environments Education
- Environmental Stewardship
- Smart and Healthy Communities
- Water and Natural Resources
The School also holds two key commercial testing facilities;
- Australian Flow Management Group
- SMAG - Specialised Testing & Research Unit
