Divisional Funding Scheme

The Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment funding scheme is open to Early Career Researchers and New Appointees to the division.   The intention of the scheme is to assist with grant application writing leading to external funding and is aimed at funding new small projects over a 12 month period.  

Eligibility:

Early Career Researchers  (those who have had their PhD conferred within the past 5 years) 

New Appointees (researchers who have commenced their employment with the Division within 12 months of their application)

Funding available:

Up to $2000.00 from the Division with matching funds from the applicants local area: School/Institute.  
For matching funds the application form must be signed by your Head of School/Institute Director and a cost centre provided in the application..

Other information:

Each applicant must enter into a mentoring agreement.  Please see the mentoring at UniSA guide for further information.

Your complete application; application form, signed mentoring agreement and the attachments requested in the application form must arrive with the Divisional Research Office by 5pm on the closing dates stated in the table below. Applications must be written in general terms, do not use any jargon.  The length of the research plan should be around one A4 page.

Following the 12 month funded period a funding report must be submitted to the Divisional Research Office. The reporting requirement will be advised should an application be successful.
