The new Bachelor of Aviation will offer two specialisations: Pilot and Management.
The Pilot specialisation will cater specifically to providing the underpinning academic knowledge needed by those aspiring to obtain the Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) and Instrument Rating (IR) with flight training. Relevant theoretical concepts will be taught for use in the corresponding flight training.
The entry requirements will be UniSA's standard entry requirements for Bachelor degree programs.
Entrance requirement for flight training is separate. Currently; class 1 medical, interview, first 4 courses in degree and ASIC clearance. Flight training is conducted outside of the Bachelor program.
