What is the AARNet MCU?

The AARNet Multipoint Conferencing Unit (MCU) allows multiple video conference, phone and ISDN participants to conference together.

The MCU supports the video and audio settings that are optimal for your equipment which ensures that every participant has the highest quality audio and video experience possible.

  • Can host a meeting with a maximum of 40 sites
  • A further 40 telephone only users can join in
  • Supports ISDN in-dial (dial-out to ISDN is not supported)
  • Able to stream the video conference via the web
  • Supports People+Content/Dual Video conferences

  • Can down convert High Definition Conference to older systems
