
UniSA’s School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences prepares graduates for rewarding careers in health and medical science.
The School offers undergraduate programs in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science (including a double degree in pharmaceutical science/pharmacy), medical science and nutrition and food sciences, as well as the only laboratory medicine degree to be fully accredited by the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists in South Australia.
Postgraduate coursework programs in dietetics, clinical pharmacy and surgical pathology preparation are also offered, as well as continuing professional development for practicing pharmacists and laboratory technicians.
With modern purpose-built facilities, experienced staff and strong industry links, the School is committed to providing a supportive learning environment to ensure students are equipped with the skills sought after by employers in Australia and around the world.
The School has strong links to the Sansom Institute for Health Research bringing together internationally recognised research concentrations in quality use of medicines, molecular and cell biology, drug development, cancer research, pharmaceutical science, neuroscience and nutrition and dietetics.
