Delegates from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) in Indonesia recently visited the School of Education and the Centre for Islamic Thought and Education (CITE). An Agreement was signed by both the ATN (Australian Technology Network) and MoRA to provide scholarship opportunities for Indonesian applicants to doctoral programs at ATN universities, including the University of South Australia and for initiatives for STEM-focussed studies/projects incorporating languages and TESOL.
The School and CITE have already welcomed PhD candidates sponsored by MoRA to commence studies at UniSA. Following this visit, Dr Mahmood Nathie and Dr David Caldwell will be participating in MoRA’s International Conference on Islamic Studies, to be held in Jakarta from 21-24 November 2018.
