Professor Mohamad Abdalla, Director, Centre for Islamic Thought and Education, delivered The Occasional Address, at the very first Graduation Ceremony 2018 held in Pridham Hall, on Friday 13 April 2018. He wished the graduates a fulfilling and wonderful future in the continuously changing world, emphasising that learning and seeking of knowledge should help in transforming us as individuals, and that it is not about transmission of information, but transformation of hearts and minds, and that it will build bridges of understanding of between all groups of people.
Professor David Lloyd, Vice Chancellor, welcomed everyone to the very first and landmark ceremony which was celebrating both the new graduates and the new and multi facility Pridham Hall. He also congratulated the graduates and wished the best in their life and work journey, and hoped they will stay connected to UniSA in the years to come. The hall was full with graduating students and their family and friends who came together to celebrate this momentous occasion.
