The Conference Venue

AAD BuildingThe venue for the 15th International Conference on Computers in Urban Planning and Urban Management will be at the University of South Australia’s (UniSA) City West Campus close to the heart of Adelaide’s city centre.  The School of Art, Architecture and Design, located in the Kaurna Building on Fenn Place will be hosting this prestigious academic event. 

This venue is close to public transport (tram, train and bus), within 20 minutes of Adelaide Airport, and has a wide range of accommodation options within walking distance of the venue to suit most budgets and preferences.  This contemporary urban campus has a frontage to North Terrace, Adelaide’s famous cultural boulevard, and a frontage to Hindley Street a Bohemian streetscape that continues into nearby Rundle Mall, the centre for shopping and fashion in Adelaide.  Adelaide has a reputation for excellent food and it offers a cornucopia of dining options close to the conference venue.  The impressive Adelaide Oval, one of Adelaide’s most iconic structures, is accessible from the conference venue via a pleasant stroll over the stunning Torrens Footbridge over Adelaide’s Torrens River, an essential experience for visitors keen to appreciate Adelaide’s signature cityscape. 

With the exception of the Conference Dinner, all of the conference sessions and activities will be held at UniSA’s City West campus.  The compact nature of this campus ensures that all of the scheduled sessions and activities can be accessed within a 5 minute walk.
