Eat, Shop and Relax at UniSA

Food on campus

We have had a major facelift recently with new facilities such as Mount Gambier New Learning Centre, student lounges, refurbished gym and sporting facilities and more. All have improved campus vibrancy and our learning and working environment.

This was only the beginning. There is more to come in early 2018, with a range of new food operators, refurbished campus shops, social space upgrades and café-style dining facilities at all metropolitan campuses.

When will this happen

Construction will start from 25 October 2017 with expected completion mid-February 2018. Current food vendors will cease operation on Friday 20 October.

Throughout this time alternative food offerings will be available. You will still be able to get your morning coffee, afternoon donut and energy-boosting healthy snack.

At City West a number of food and drink offerings are available including West End Kitchen, The Espresso Room, Phat Coffee, Peter Rabbit, Levant, Cheeseburger and more.

City East has Zouki on Frome Road and a plethora of food outlets on Rundle Street and Pultney Street.

Pop up food vendors will be available at Magill campus and Brightside Deli will continue to operate at Mawson Lakes campus in the MM building.

If you are after textbooks, you can still order through the Co-op online shop or visit stores on both Adelaide University and Flinders University campuses.

How did we decide on food vendors and design

We started with research – our seating space designs and food selection are based on discussions with staff and students, analysis of the South Australian food scene and review of unijam feedback.

We want to provide an environment that you are comfortable in – so our design will emulate your favourite Friday afternoon coffee bar, Saturday lunch eatery and Sunday brunch spot.

Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for building updates and special food offers.
