As part of our Successful Ageing Seminar series, we invite you to attend this FREE seminar to hear from two distinguished presenters on the topic of transitioning to renewable energy and how South Australia is leading the way. Presented by:

Professor Bruno is South Australian Chair in Energy with the Future Industries Institute at the University of South Australia. Professor Bruno has been involved in research, consultancy and teaching in the areas of thermal storage, low energy buildings, air conditioning, refrigeration and solar thermal for over 25 years. He will present both past and current research in the energy area at UniSA including an assessment of the performance of insulation in Australian roofs and development & valuation of the energy guidelines for Australia’s most sustainable housing development, Lochiel Park.

Dr Martin Belusko is Senior Research Fellow at the Barbara Hardy Institute at the University of South Australia. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Martin Belusko has been a researcher in the area of sustainable energy engineering at UniSA. He has expertise in the area of low energy buildings, low energy heating and cooling, and thermal energy storage. Martin’s presentation will provide an overview of how and why this transition is occurring and how SA represents one of the leading regions in this transition.
