In co-operation with Cardiff University's Business School, Lean Enterprise Australia and the Lean Global Network, UniSA has developed a new and expanded Lean Thinking course.  Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Lean Facilitator's certificate.

The need for reducing waste and increasing customer value has never been more important.  Demands for efficiency and effectiveness in our processes, service and product delivery are becoming more challenging, but necessary for increased capacity and growth.

At the core of all successful improvement projects is the adoption of a proven Lean implementation framework.  This course enables you to follow The Lean Transformation Model step-by-step through the five dimensions that will result in value creation and improved performance.

Designed for the Lean champions, change managers and improvement project facilitators and leaders, this course provides practical learnings for leading, managing and facilitating the Lean Transformation within their organisations.

The 10 day Lean Facilitator's course will be delivered in 2 x 5 day blocks providing an opportunity for applied learning through simulations and, exercises and in the final week, to see Lean in Action with presentations on Australian based continuous improvement case studies including a site visit to see first hand how Lean is successfully implemented:

Investment in the Lean Facilitator Certificate course is $6,950 (GST exempt)
A discount to $6,550 is available for registrations received by COB  date to be announced.
UniSA Alumni receive a further 10% discount as do multiple registrations from the same organisation. 

Cancellation Policy:  The University of South Australia reserves the right to cancel events and issue refunds.  In the event that an attendee canot attend, a substitute is welcome to attend in their place.  No refunds will be given unless 21 days notice is given in writing prior to the date of the planned event. If less than 21 days the fee can be used for the same course at a later stage, or another course of the same value.

This three day program which is aimed at senior executives, managers and supervisors, provides participants with the understanding of the principles, techniques and required leadership behaviours to lead a sustainable continuous improvement program and make Lean a "way of life".
