The Samstag Museum is located at the University of South Australia's City West campus, in the Hawke Building, 55 North Terrace - an easy 15 minute walk from the city centre.

The City West precinct is home to the Lion Arts Centre and a number of galleries, cinemas and other arts organisations including SASA GalleryACE Open, JamFactoryNexus Arts, and Mercury Cinema as well as plenty of places to eat and drink!

 

Opening Hours

Tuesday to Friday 10am — 5pm

Saturday 12 — 5pm

or by appointment, with extended hours for special events and exhibitions. Closed public holidays and during exhibition changeovers.

 

Cost

Entry to the Samstag Museum and our Public Programs is free, and all visitors welcome!

 

Parking

The Samstag Museum does not provide parking. Parking may be found near the Samstag Museum, along North Terrace, or in the City West Parking Station on Hindley Street, opposite the University's City West campus southern entry. Entry to the parking station is off Clarendon Street.

The Samstag Museum is committed to ensuring its programs and activities are accessible to everyone. All public areas are easily accessible by wheelchair. Visitors who have other special requirements should contact the Samstag Museum.
