Your ideas and experience are in demand
When you think about it, UniSA's alumni community represents thousands of years of wisdom and experience, so as we enter a new stage in our development it makes sense that the University wants to hear your ideas.
The University is calling on all alumni to take part in unijam on May 29 and 30.
unijam is an online brainstorming event and ideas forum that allows for thousands of people to have a conversation on a range of issues in real time, no matter where they are in the world.
To launch unijam we'll be using IBM's Collaborative Innovation platform. Globally more than 80 businesses, not-for-profits and government bodies have successfully used this technology for organisational conversations but UniSA will be the first university in the world to do so.
The success of unijam will in no small part be due to your participation – you are our community of thinkers.
unijam will throw open a range of conversations.
Broad themes include looking at the student experience, our global outlook and how we network with industry and friends. We'll be discussing everything from how to build more vibrant campuses through to why a global outlook is vital to the university. We want to know your views about how the University can engage with industry, and your ideas on improving professional education or working with researchers.
We also want know what you think it takes for the University be considered a good corporate citizen, a great suburban neighbour and a respected alma mater.
All ideas are welcome at unijam so even if you have one great thought, do take the time to register and join the event for an hour or even 10 minutes.
We're keen to get the benefit of your experience and to see how this important University community conversation evolves – quite simply we're looking forward to jamming with you.
Access the unijam site for more information, or email unijam@unisa.edu.au.
