Deadly Alumni Launch Dinner

The Deadly Alumni artwork was designed by Jordan Lovegrove a Ngarrinjeri young man from the South Australian coast. Jordan is a talented local artist and illustrator with Dreamtime Public Relations. It’s abstract, colourful and modern, using a mix of traditional and non-traditional colours and imagery. The concentric lines represent the sharing of wisdom via ‘Sand Stories’. The central red track represents the different paths of the student journey. The dotted lines with arrow-like figures are Kangaroo tracks, representing the insight gained through the Alumni support. The use of blue recognises the Torres Strait Islander people and their flag.

Professor Peter Buckskin, Dean: Indigenous Scholarship, Engagement and Research, University of South Australia, is hosting a gala dinner to celebrate the launch of a chapter for University of South Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduates - the Deadly Alumni.

Join  Deadly Alumni Patron Dr Tom Calma, Chancellor of the University of Canberra and UniSA alumnus, other special guests and fellow graduates for a celebration to remember.
